Iranian movie ‘Mohey’ is set to be screened in London after it was displayed at the London Iranian Film Festival (UKIFF) in England.
Directed by Davoud Khayyam, ‘Mohey’ is also to be screened in Iran after being premiered in the 35th Fajr Film Festival.
The film narrates the story of a woman ‘Mohey’, who becomes involved in international money laundering and black market deals between the years 2012 and 2013.
Produced in 2016, renowned Iranian thespians including Anna Nemati, Mehran Ahmadi and Homayoun Ershadi star in the 94-minute movie.
UKIFF is an annual, independent film festival held in London, United Kingdom, and as the official website of the event wrote. It is the only festival in the UK that is dedicated to Iranian independent cinema.
The latest edition of the UKIFF event took place on October 28 to November 2, last year.
